Hunt for driver after woman knocked down

AN ELDERLY woman suffered a broken leg after being knocked down while crossing the road in Maltby.

The 74-year-old was crossing Muglet Lane from the bowling green side at 4pm on Wednesday.

The car involved was an orange Daewoo travelling from Hamilton Road towards the High Street.

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident 687 of May 2.
