Hunt for attackers after man hit with metal bar

An e-fit image has been released of the man who is believed to have been involved in an incident which took place at around 3.30am on Saturday April 2 in Park Street.

It is thought two males attacked another man and one hit him with a metal bar.

The man pictured in the attached e-fit is said to be white, around 5ft 9in, and of a skinny build. He is believed to have been wearing a dark hooded top at the time of the offence.

The second man is also believed to be white, around 5ft 9in and of a medium build.

The victim, a Wombwell man in his late 20s, was taken to Barnsley General Hospital with minor injuries and was kept in for three days.
