A HUGE expansion set to bring hundreds more jobs to the Advanced Manufacturing Park has been unveiled.
Landowner Harworth Estates has submitted an outline application for a 36-acre site on land at Catcliffe.
The plans include up to 40,000 sq m of industrial and office space at the hi-tech park, built on former mining land.
Papers drawn up by the Harris Partnership architects to support the proposals said: “Many world-leading manufacturing firms are already located at the AMP.
“This next phase of development seeks to build on this success to date to further strengthen the AMP’s reputation as an advanced manufacturing, hi-tech engineering and research and development location.”
Indicative drawings submitted with the plans show 11 units to the south of the Parkway, either side of the McLaren supercar factory currently under construction.
Rolls Royce and Boeing are among other firms already at the AMP.
