Housing development deal will boost school
A DEVELOPMENT of nearly 100 homes has been sealed with the signing of a legal agreement including £233,182 for Aston Academy.
The school will receive the booster to mitigate pressures from Bellway Homes’ estate off Park Hill at Swallownest, which was approved by the council in July.
Also within the Section 106 agreement is £49,500 towards encouraging sustainable travel; £34,100 to manage trees south of the housing site for 20 years; and £7,800 to improve the children’s play area at West Park Drive, Swallownest.
