Householder foils South Anston bike thieves

Two men broke into a garage of a property on Lobeila Court and attempted to steal a Honda motorbike at around 9.20pm last Thursday (November 26), police said.

A police spokeswoman said that when confronted by a householder, the pair had left the bike at the scene and fled in a car.

"It is believed that the vehicle was displaying a 55 plate registration," she added. 

Police are now asking for anyone with information which might help them in their enquiries to come forward.
