Hospice gears up for Christmas fundraiser

A FEAST of festive fun is being served up by a Rotherham charity as it prepares for its Christmas fair.

This year's Rotherham Hospice Christmas Fair will take place at the Broom Road Hospice from 11am until 3pm on November 21.

Visitors will be able to enjoy festive games, a cake stall, Santa’s grotto and gifts will be available to buy including jewellery, crafts, toys, Christmas cards and calendars.

Refreshments will include a barbecue as well as tea and coffee.

And if anyone would like to donate raffle gifts, from bottles of alcohol to home-made cakes, please drop them off at the hospice by November 20.

A hospice spokeswoman said: "Thanks to the kind generosity of the people of Rotherham, last year we raised more than £5,700 to support patients and their families through a difficult time.

"Please come along and join us for what promises to be a fun and festive day."
