Hooton Roberts crash leaves car on roof

A MAN suffered serious injuries after the car he was travelling in overturned and came to rest on its roof.

The 47-year-old was a passenger in a blue Vauxhall Corsa which was travelling on the A630 Doncaster Road, in Hooton Roberts, towards Rotherham at around 6.50pm on Monday.

Around half a mile before the junction with Holmes Lane the Corsa left the road, overturning and coming to rest on its roof.

No other vehicles are thought to have been involved in the crash.

A 39-year-old man driving the car suffered minor injuries.
