The raid, at a property on Chaddesdon Walk, was part of Operation Duxford, which has seen high profile police action across the county to reassure the public.

A Class A drug was found on the premises, along with quantities of cannabis.

Other gear included drug cooking equipment and knives.

There was evidence that the man had been converting cannabis into cannabis oil, Sgt Woodhall said.

Officers carried away a large number of bags of evidence from the house.

Sgt Woodhall said he was pleased with the success of the raid as officers were only expecting to find cannabis.

He said: “It’s been a very positive result which is supported by local community comments.”
