Home invasion in Wath leaves man with cuts to face and leg

A MAN suffered cuts on his face and legs when two men broke into his home in Wath.

A MAN suffered serious injuries when two men broke into his home in Wath.

According to police reports, the 34-year-old man was inside a house on Quarry Hill Road last Thursday when two individuals wearing balaclavas are said to have entered and attacked him.

He suffered cuts to his face as well as a deep laceration to his leg after he was pushed through a pane of glass inside his home, a spokesperson said.

Police are now asking anyone who lives on this street and has CCTV, or anyone who has any information about this incident to get in touch.

"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone living in the area with ring doorbell footage who may have captured the two individuals that evening," the spokesperson said.
