Holden goes back to Shrews

DEFENDER Dean Holden has left Rotherham United after he was recalled by Shrewsbury Town with immediate effect.

Holden joined the Millers initially on a one month loan but after some impressive performances his loan was extended by a further two months.

The club's chief operating officer, Paul Douglas, said: "Dean has been a model professional throughout his stay with Rotherham United.

"He arrived at a time when we had one or two injuries and filled in admirably when required. We wish him well for the rest of the season."

Holden made seven appearances in league and cup for the Millers.
