HGV driver's dismay over £500 fuel theft

THIEVES stole £500 worth of fuel from an HGV.

The incident took place overnight last Wednesday in Summer Lane with around 300 litres of fuel siphoned from the vehicle, some of which spilled on the floor.

The police said the identity of the thieves was unknown.

South Yorkshire Police have confirmed an investigation was underway and they were seeking help to track down those involved.
