Herringthorpe students spread Christmas cheer at hospital

KIND-hearted students have been spreading Christmas cheer with hampers, carols and presents for hospital patients.

Students from St Bernard’s RC High School in Herringthorpe filled 30 hampers for the hungry, visited Rotherham Hospital to sing carols and handed over toys to kids in the hospital’s children’s ward.

This year, they have also branched out into putting together emergency overnight bags for patients who find themselves admitted to hospital unexpectedly.
