Hay bales and rubbish torched by arsonists
ARSONISTS torched ten bales of hay in a field on Saturday (1).
Two fire crews tackled the incident on Hangsman Lane, Laughton Common, and were at the scene for 20 minutes.
A fire service spokeswoman said: “The fire was started deliberately.”
Two rubbish fires were also started by arsonists. The first incident was in Scholes Lane, Scholes, at 8.25pm on Sunday and the second was in Hartington Road, Holmes, at 10.20pm.
