Hay bale rolled under tree and set alight at Kimberworth Park

Firefighters were called to Fenton Road at Kimberworth Park shortly before 12.40pm on Sunday (2).

The bale had been rolled to the side of a field and the crew was at the scene for about an hour.

Later, there was a grass fire on Herringthorpe Valley Road at 8.45pm and a rubbish fire on Princes Crescent in Edlington at 9.25pm.

In the early hours of this morning (Monday), wheelie bins were set alight at Harlington Court in Denaby Main and Rother View Road at Canklow.
