Have a "great day" raising charity cash at Parkgate
PARKGATE Shopping is hoping for a “great day” of fundraising for two hospital charities tomorrow.
Parkgate is one of 140 shopping centres across the UK taking part in the One Great Day drive, with proceeds from a family fun day going to Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity and the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity.
The aim is to support the refurbishment of children’s facilities at Rotherham Hospital and provide toys and accessories for children staying at or visiting Rotherham Hospital or just visiting.
Tomorrow’s attractions, include traditional games such as hook a duck, a tombola, Brecks Birds of Prey, Phoenix Ponies and a singing for charity event.
