Guide Dogs out to set tails wagging with Thrybergh event
Dog lovers took their pets for a sponsored stroll at Thrybergh last October.

DOG walkers can lead the way towards a happier future for the visually-impaired by joining a sponsored event in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Fundraiser and guide dog user Glenis Julyan has invited dog owners and their four-legged friends to join in the sponsored walk around Thrybergh Country Park on Saturday, October 14, from 11am.

Walkers will take a two-mile trek around the park’s lake, which Glenis said was suitable for wheelchair users.

She added: “All the money raised will go to Rotherham Guide Dogs for the Blind and we want all dog owners to come along and have a great day with us.”
