Grit bin torched in Canklow

A GRIT bin was destroyed in a suspected arson attack in Canklow yesterday (Sunday).

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to the scene at Canklow Road at 11.20pm, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

They used a hose reel to put out the deliberate fire and came away at 11.30pm, she added.
