Grassland fire in Braithwell was accidental

GRASSLAND was set on fire accidentally in Braithwell on Saturday afternoon.

A crew from Matlby fire station was called to Doncaster Road at 2.10pm. 

"Around 90sq metres of grassland was on fire but the cause was accidental," said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue. 

The crew was at the scene for 30 minutes.
