Grassland at Maltby among five deliberate fires overnight

Grassland at Victoria Street in Maltby was set alight at 9.15pm yesterday (Monday), followed by a car on Bierlow Close, Brampton Bierlow, at 10pm.

There were deliberate rubbish fires at The Crescent in Conisbrough at 10.15pm and Princes Crescent at Edlington at 1.30am, as well as a bin fire on Hough Lane, Wombwell, at 11.25pm.

Dearne firefighters attended an accidental fire involving garden furniture, fencing and decking on New Meadows in Rawmarsh at 1:45am.
