“All the construction work will start this year on the new homes for rent that will help meet the different housing needs of local residents.”

These homes are being funded through the National Affordable Housing Programme as a part of a £44 million investment across Yorkshire and The Humber to meet the specific needs of different communities.

The investment will be made to both local authorities and Registered Providers of Social Housing to ensure that people are able to live in the communities of their choice and local authorities can meet the needs of their local residents as effectively as possible.
