Four men are on trial for sexually exploiting the girl between 2001 and 2003 when she was aged between 14 and 16.

The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, said in a police interview recorded in October, 2016, that the men would “do whatever they could do to get you to sleep with them”.

The interview was played to the jury at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday where a total of eight men are accused of 28 child sexual exploitation offences against five girls between 1998 and 2005.

The woman is the third complainant the jury has heard evidence from.

Mohammed Imran Akhtar (37), of Godstone Road, Rotherham, is charged with five sexual offences against the girl between 2001 and 2003 including rape, indecent assault, sexual assault, procuring a girl to have sex with another, aiding and abetting Tanweer Ali to commit rape.

Nabeel Kurshid (34), of Weetwood Road, Rotherham, faces one count of rape and one count of indecent assault against the same girl between 2001 and 2003.

Iqlak Yousaf (34), of Tooker Road, Rotherham, faces one count of rape and one count of indecent assault against the same girl between 2001 and 2003.

Tanweer Ali (37), of Godstone Road, Rotherham, is charged with rape, which was aided and abetted by Akhtar.

The prosecution say Akhtar was known as Imran, Iqlak Yousaf was known was Iqqy, Kurshid was known as Nabeel and Tanweer Ali was known as Pepsi.

During her police interview the now 31-year-old woman said: “They will take you to an empty or quiet place and they will talk to you for a bit.

“They will give you alcohol, or even drugs, and they will do whatever they can do to get you to sleep with them, or do other things.

“If you refuse that, they will force you.

“If it's not Imran that forces you, it would be the other guys.

“He used to hang around with Iqqy, Nabeel and Pepsi.

“If he (Akhtar) wasn't doing anything he would get his other friends to do something.

“It was like a constant thing - every single night - they would come and pick you up and give you drinks and alcohol.

“They would usually give you white powder, 'phet (amphetamines) and they would give you, like, ecstasy tablets.”

Akhtar is also charged with sexually assaulting the girl between 2004 and 2005. The woman claims during this incident she had called Akhtar to pick her up from a Sheffield takeaway where other men were trying to force her to have sex, but was then sexually assaulted by him in his car.

The woman said she was sexually assaulted under a bridge in Sheffield after driving around "late at night" with Akhtar and Pepsi.

The woman said next time she saw Akhtar it was “like nothing had happened”.

“It’s the same thing every day — they force you or shout at you — it’s the same three people leading it - Iqqy, Imran and Nabeel," she said.

“It was a constant thing, going on and on.”

The trial continues.
