Garden shed blaze sparked by bonfire in Thurnscoe

SPARKS from a bonfire set fire to a garden shed in Thurnscoe in the early hours of this morning.

A crew from Dearne fire station arrived at the scene on Chapel Lane at just after midnight and spent 30 minutes bringing the fire under control.

A fire service spokeswoman said: “The fire in the garden shed was caused by a bonfire that spread”.
