Fun day and auction to raise charity cash

AMPUTEE Danielle Wood will hold a charity fun day and auction this weekend to raise money for the hospital ward which treated her.

The event will be held at the Rock Tavern, Highthorn Road, Kilnhurst, on Sunday, August 20.

There will be family fun day from noon including a bouncy castle, games and stalls.

Then from 6pm there will be an auction, which will include a pair of boxing gloves signed by Anthony Joshua.

All proceeds from the day will go to the Mobility and Specialised Rehabilitation Centre at Northern General Hospital.
