Full details of roadworks on the M1 in Rotherham this week

The southbound entry slip road at M1 junction 34 (Tinsley) will be fully closed overnight for five nights from tonight for inspections.

The southbound exit slip road at the same junction will be fully closed overnight tonight for the same reason, while “routine work” is behind the closure of the northbound exit slip road overnight on Wednesday.

The northbound exit slip road at junction 35 (Thorpe Hesley) will be shut on Wednesday night for carriageway repairs.

The Highways Agency said the closures would take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes.
