Det Chief Insp Jude Ashmore, leading the inquiry, said three men – two aged 18 and one aged 20, all from Rotherham - were arrested on suspicion of Mr Usen-Satchell’s murder.

They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A fourth Rotherham man was arrested last night and remained in police custody today, added a South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman.

Mr Ashmore said the motive for the attack "wasn't clear" but it was believed the men involved in the altercation were known to each other.

He added: “I’d like to please ask that anyone who saw Mr Usen-Satchell earlier that morning or who has any information at all about the incident to contact us."
