Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision early this morning which left four men in hospital.

 

At 12.10am this morning, a grey Ford Focus was travelling along Red Hill, Kiveton Park, Rotherham, towards South Anston when it left the road on its nearside and collided with a tree.

The front seat passenger, a 20-year-old man, suffered life-threatening head and chest injuries and was taken to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.

The 26-year-old driver of the Focus and his two other passengers were all taken to Rotherham General Hospital, where they were still being treated today.

The driver was left with serious head and chest injuries, while one back seat passenger, a 26-year-old man, suffered life-threatening head and chest injuries.

Another back seat passenger, a 20-year-old man from Wales, suffered minor abdominal injuries.
