Four held as armed police swoop

Addresses in Park Hill and Chesterfield Road, Aston, and Sorby Road, Swallownest, were raided at 8.30am.

Four men, aged 17, 19, 21 and 22 were on suspicion of committing armed robbery and burglaries involving ATM cash machines.

The arrests come after a security van was robbed outside the Royal Bank of Scotland, in High Street, Swallownest, on Tuesday.
