Four deliberate fires overnight

A crew from Parkway station dealt with bushes on fire at 8.10pm on Brinsworth Lane in Brinsworth.

Rotherham station was called out to a rubbish fire at Canklow Road in Canklow just under an hour later.

A van was set alight at Cockhill Field Lane, Braithwell. Maltby firefighters were there for half an hour from 9.30pm.

And a skip was set on fire shortly after 2am at High Street in Goldthorpe. Dearne station firefighters attended and were there for 50 minutes.

There was one accidental fire involving a garden shed at Kingsway, Thurnscoe, at 10.50pm.
