Forge Island is temporary works base for £5m roadworks
FORGE Island will be used as a works compound this week ahead of the £5 million College Road roundabout revamp.
The overspill car park will be closed from today (Monday) until Friday and access to parking is by Market Street only, RMBC said.
The improvements — adding another lane to the roundabout — are set to begin on August 19 and take nine months to complete.
