Football teams reform for cancer charity match

A FOOTBALL match is being held tomorrow to help a charity which helps families with children who have cancer.

Former players of Reresby Arms take on ex-members of The Cavalier team at Rawmarsh St Joseph’s JFC’s ground on Back Lane in aid of Amy’s Retreat.

The charity, which is based in South Yorkshire, allows parents with youngsters suffering or recovering from cancer to have a much-needed break and quality time away from day-to-day routines.

Kick-off is 11am and there will be a bucket collection followed by a get-together afterwards to The Cavalier at Ravenfield.
