Fly tipped rubbish torched at Thrybergh Country Park
RUBBISH that had been fly-tipped at Thrybergh Country Park was set on fire last night.
Firefighters from Rotherham were called to the country park on Doncaster Road, at 7.48pm.
They found a large amount of fly- tipped rubbish well alight, said a spokesman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
"It is thought to have been started deliberately," he added.
The crew was on scene for an hour and a half.
