FLOODING: No train services through Rotherham and M1 affected

Northern Rail said all lines at the station were blocked and disruption was expected until 6pm.

It said train services would be delayed or running non-stop between Meadowhall and Swinton, but Rotherham Central would not be served.

Rail replacement services will be running from Rotherham Central to Meadowhall at 40 minutes past the hour and from Meadowhall to Rotherham Central on the hour.

Meanwhile, one lane is closed on the M1 southbound between the slips at junction 32 and the M18.
