Flat fire at Wingfield
FIRE crews from three stations attended a blaze caused by cooking in a flat at Wingfield.
Firefighters from Rotherham, Elm Lane and Dearne were called to Wingfield Road at 7.40pm on Friday.
South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue confirmed the incident was accidental and the crews were there for about 40 minutes.
Firefighters from Rotherham station also attended an accidental car fire shortly after 7pm the same day at Oval Road, East Dene.
