Firefighters tackle refuse fires

FIREFIGHTERS attended three refuse fires last night.

One crew from Cudworth station were called to Moorbridge Crescent, Brampton Bierlow, at around 7pm, leaving at around 7.40pm.

Rotherham firefighters weent to Fenton Road, Kimberworth Park, at around 8.05pm to tackle another fire leaving at around 8.30pm.

And another crew from Rotherham was called to Vale Avenue, Thrybergh, at around 10.30pm, leaving at around 11.05pm.

All three fires are thought to have been set deliberately, a South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said.
