Firefighters called to out-of-control bonfire in Thurnscoe

Firefighters from Cudworth station were called to York Street at 6.20pm to tackle the garden fire and were at the scene until 7pm, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

The fire was accidental, she added.
