Firefighters called out to two rubbish fires in Masbrough

ARSONISTS torched rubbish in two parts of Masbrough within 20 minutes.
FIRE crews were called out to two rubbish fires in Masbrough within 20 minutes.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called out to the first rubbish fire in Masbrough on New Wortley Road at 11.30pm and came away after 20 minutes.

But 20 minutes after the first fire incident, another crew from Rotherham were called to a second rubbish fire in Masbrough, this time on Henley Way.

They left the scene at 12.05am.

The cause of both fires is believed to had been accidental, said a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
