Firebugs set disability scooter alight

A DISABILITY scooter was deliberately set on fire in the early hours of Thursday.

Firefighters were called out shortly before midnight to the blaze outside a home on Manor Fields, Kimberworth.

The crew, from Rotherham station, were there for about 20 minutes and a spokeswoman said the cause of the fire was arson.

Firefighters in Maltby were called to Thicket Drive when a shed was deliberately set alight at about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
