Firebugs blamed for setting tyres alight
A BLAZE at an illegal tyre dump in Maltby on Wednesday afternoon is being treated as arson.
Around 200 tyres were set alight at an industrial area at Woodland Lodge on Tickhill Road.
Firefighters from Maltby station took two hours to bring the fire under control.
A fire service spokesman said the blaze had been started deliberately on what was believed to be an illegal tyre dumping ground.
