Fire outside Aston pub was accidental

A WOODEN planter outside an Aston pub caught fire by accident.

A crew from Aston fire station was called to Mansfield Road at 5.24am on Saturday (May 25).

"Our crew attended a wooden planter on fire outside a pub and the cause was accidental," a spokeswoman from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said. 

The crew left the scene at 5.42am.
