Fire on grass bank in Sprotborough was deliberate

ARSONISTS started a fire on a grass bank in Sprotborough last night (Thursday).

Firefighters from Edlington station were called to Newton Lane at 8.25pm where 20 sqm of grass bank had been set alight, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

They left the scene at 8.50pm, she added.
