Fire officers tackle blaze in Blackburn

FIRE officers used water backpacks to put out a blaze amongst a quantity of rubbish in Blackburn.

They were called out on yesterday at 7.05pm to tackle the fire on Baring Road, spending 20 minutes at the scene.

A fire service spokeswoman said the fire was started deliberately.
