Fire in Dalton greenhouse was accidental

Firefighters from Parkway station were called to Arundel Avenue at 9.25am to tackle the accidental blaze, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said.

"Someone was cooking on a portable gas ring and set fire to the greenhouse," said the spokeswoman.

"The firefighters were there for 20 minutes and no injuries were reported."
