Fire crews tackle woodland, bush, and tree blazes
FIREFIGHTERS spent yesterday morning tackling a trio of woodland, bush and plant fires.
Just after 7.30am, bushes were deliberately set on fire on Broom Road, Broom.
Crews came away at 8.25am.

Hide AdFirefighters spent 15 minutes dealing with an accidental fire involving plants in a car park at Phoenix Riverside, Templeborough, which had been reported at 9.30am.
At 12.55pm, crews from Dearne station were called to an accidental wasteland fire at Broom Close in Wath.
They left the scene at 2.25pm.
Into the evening, firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish blaze at 8.50pm on Church Lane, Aston, and were at the scene until 9.35pm.
Firefighters spent nearly two hours tackling an accidental fire involving a fence and conifers in Darfield in the early hours of this morning.

Hide AdThey were called to the blaze on Bellbrooke Avenue at 3.45am and did not leave the scene until 5.35am.
A crew from Rotherham station later attended a blaze involving bushes and grassland at 6.55am on Stoddart Way, Parkgate.
The fire is believed to have been started accidentally, and firefighters were only there until 7.10am.
