Fire crews tackle furniture and rubbish blazes

FIREFIGHTERS attended a two deliberate fires last night in Rotherham and the surrounding area.

A crew from Dearne station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Carr Head Lane, Bolton Upon Dearne, at 9.25pm.

They left the scene at 10.20pm.

Rotherham firefighters were also called out to a deliberate fire involving furniture and household rubbish at 11.30pm on Cavendish Road, Holmes.

The crew left the scene 20 minutes later.
