Fire crews from four stations sent to huge field fire
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a huge field fire near the Dearne Valley Parkway.
Four crews from Tankersley, Dearne, Barnsley and Cudworth stations attended what is thought to be a deliberate fire on Roebuck Hill at 10.25pm on Monday.
The fire could be seen by witnesses in Hoyland and Wombwell and took over an hour to put out.
