A CRASH victim had to be helped out through a windscreen by firefighters after a three-vehicle smash in Broom.

The vehicle, thought to be a minibus, was left on its side following the accident in Broom Lane and an emergency crew was called in to help the driver out through the shattered front window.

The driver is understood to have been a man in his 50s but no details were given by the fire service of his injuries.

The male driver of another car suffered minor injuries and went to hospital himself for treatment after the incident at Broom Lane at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 2.
