Fire chief wins top honour
By Antony Clay | 16/11/2017
A SENIOR officer with South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue has received a top global award.
Emergency planning officer Russ Parramore won the Global Continuity and Resilience Professional (Public Sector) 2017 Award at the Business Continuity Institute Global Awards in London.
Mr Parramore said: “I feel privileged to have won this award but it would not have been possible without the support of South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
“With an open approach to change, we have allowed the key principles of business continuity to be embedded into the organisation’s day to day operations.”
