Fire at industrial building in Wath still under investigation
THE cause of a blaze at an industrial building in Wath is still under investigation, fire officials say.
Crews from Wath, Dearne, Rotherham and Parkway stations were called to Bolton Road at 10pm on Friday (October 25).
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said recycling rubbish had been set on fire and crews revisited the site over the weekend to make sure the fire hadn't reignited.
"The cause of the fire is not yet known as the investigation is still open," she added.
