Fire at Conisbrough scrapyard was accidental

THE cause of a fire at a scrapyard in Conisbrough on Saturday was accidental.

Firefighters from Edlington, Dearne and Rotherham stations were called to Burcroft Hill at 6.20am and were at the scene for an hour and a half.

"The blaze involved cyclinders and the cause of the fire was accidental," said a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
