Firbeck crash victim named

THE MAN who died in a car crash in Firbeck this morning has been named as 22-year-old Marc Bingley.

Marc, from Carlton, was the passenger in a white Honda Integra Type-R which hit a tree on Lamb Lane at about 12.30am.

The driver, a 24-year-old North Anston man, remains in a life-threatening condition at Rotherham General Hospital.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or the manner of driving before, is urged to call the South Yorkshire Police witness helpline on 0114 220 2970.
